PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION:
Take any tram, metro, bus or train going to Central Station.
From the Central Station it is only a 3-4 minute walk to Barangây.
Coming out from the Central Station (main entrance facing the tram stops), you turn right direction Ibis Hotel. After passing the Ibis and the bike parking, turn left and cross the modern (steel) foot/bike bridge (beware of the bikes !!) and take the stairs up front.
In front of you, (keep the train tracks at your right hand side) you'll see a little square and a huge free standing red-brick building with white stripes, and a red door in the middle. this is on droogbak.

Walk towards that building and you will find Barangây on its left side, at number 15. (The house with plants/flowers) Please use/push only the BLACK BELL... we definitely don't want to disturb our
neighbors!!
BY BUS
If you really don't want to walk, Barangây is one bus stop away (walking is
much faster). Bus 22 is located in between the Central Station and Victoria
Hotel. Walking towards the bus stop you cross the main bridge with all the
tramlines away from the station. On the right hand corner you will find bus
22, next to the canal boats of Holland International.
After one stop you get out in front of a free standing red-brick building,
with a red door in the middle. This is Droogbak.
Walk towards that building and you will find Barangây on its left side, at number 15. (The house with plants/flowers) Please use/push only the BLACK BELL... we definitely don't want to disturb our neighbours!!
BY TAXI
If you have lots of money, the taxi's are waiting in front of the station main entrance.
Get ready to be disappointed as they will probably refuse you a ride or possibly show you the whole city before bringing you to Barangây.
Our B&B is very close from the station.
If you taking the taxi from the airport (which we only recommend if you are rich or when there are at least 4
persons with a lot of luggage), make sure to ask the taxi driver for the price. Don't pay more than 40 euro. You can also print the directions by car for the driver to follow (see below)
BY CAR
When you arrive on the A10 (the ring around the city centre) take the RING WEST and take exit S103 ( Direction Haarlem) at the end of the exit turn right direction CENTRUM. Now you are on the Haarlemmerweg. Continue driving until the end where you cross the bridge and you will see an old square gate of the city, at your lefthand. After the bridge, you turn left and than turn right after a few meters following the mainroad. You are now driving parallel with the railway tracks (at your left hand side) Now, you are less than 3 minutes drive to our place.
After crossing the canal, the road curves to the right, and now there is a traffic light and you must turn right immediately!! (you drive around a free standing redbrick building.) this is the Droogbak. It is the little street left from that building You will find us on number 15. Please use/push only the BLACK BELL... we definitely don't want to disturb our neighbours!!
PARKING
Parking is very expensive in Amsterdam as you pay more than 3 euro per hour from 09:00 am until midnight. If you do not pay they will clamp you car wheels!! We advise everybody to park your car outside the centre for only 6,50 euro for 24 hours
To safe time, park your car at Sloterdijk train station first. Follow our directions untill exit s-103, now turn left
direction Haarlem and drive under the highway (A10). Soon after that, you drive under the train-rail bridge and now take the first road to the right and park your car at sloterdijk station. From there every 10 minutes a train is going to Central Station, this is a 5 minutes train ride.
